What does death really mean to us? This project delves into the topic of death education, specifically in a family setting. The designer was inspired to create a time capsule after realizing she didn't know much about her grandfather after he passed away. The time capsule serves as a way to record memories at different stages of life, providing a basis for direct communication with future generations. Through this project, the designer aims to encourage families to confront difficult topics like death and to preserve memories that can be passed down through generations.

當我們談論死亡的時候，我們在談論什麼？這個作品探討在家庭環境中開展死亡教育的方式，藝術家在外公去世後才發現對他並不太了解，因此她設計了一個時間膠囊，來記錄每個不同人生階段的回憶，作為未來與後代直接交流的根據。

Mia Zhu is a multimedia artist and illustrator based in Hong Kong. She received her bachelor’s degree from Jingdezhen Ceramic University in Jiangxi Province, the capital of ceramics in China, where she majored in sculpture. After graduation, she worked in film companies as a concept designer for film and TV series. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University. Her experience in multiple industries has added a diverse perspective to her creations. Her works revolve around art therapy, relational aesthetics, and challenges to conventional concepts. She aims to explore acute topics related to death education and stimulate public discussion from a humanistic perspective through her works.

朱飛虹是一位多媒體藝術家和插畫師，現居香港。她畢業於中國瓷都江西省景德鎮陶瓷大學，主修雕塑。畢業後在電影公司擔任影視劇概念設計師。她目前在香港浸會大學攻讀視覺藝術文學碩士。她的多行業經歷也為她的創作增添了多元化的視角。她的作品圍繞藝術治療，關係美學和對傳統觀念的挑戰。她希望從作品中以人文主義的精神來探討死亡教育等尖銳的話題並引發公眾討論。
