As an artist who identifies as a member of the LGBT community, this individual has created this series of deeply personal intimate. Drawing upon past experiences and relationships with other men, the artist has endeavoured to capture that have shaped his identity and influenced his worldview. Through these works, he seeks to explore the unique challenges by gay individuals in certain regions. By sharing his true stories and feelings, he hopes to raise awareness and promote understanding of the issues affecting the LGBT community.

As an illustrator specializing in digital painting, Oliver Wang steps away from the flat style typically associated with digital illustrations, focusing more on textures to create a more tactile and intimate connection with his audience. To explore the possibilities of texture, he collects the details found in everyday objects and traditional art media. Then, he integrates these textures into his digital works. Additionally, he sometimes uses installations and clay sculptures to make his illustrations real and tangible.

Oliver’s illustrations are not just visually cute and refreshing but also deeply emotional. He uses his works to explore themes such as solitude, inner peace, self-identity, and intimacy, creating a gentle, soft, and romantic atmosphere. Through his illustrative works, he invites his audience to connect with their emotions and experiences, finding comfort and understanding in his illustrations.
