"Customers often end up buying many things on a whim that they may not need or ever finish."
- George Ritzer.
The artwork is recreated from some discarded items collected from participants, some of which were used only a few times and others that are forgotten after purchase. Even if they are in good condition, as long as they are not needed for current use, their product life cycle comes to an end. However, this "end" also represents a new beginning. I hope to give these discarded consumables a new identity, value and meaning through craftsmanship, thereby starting their life cycle, reconnecting with people and stimulating reflection on the throw-away culture caused by overconsumption.
